Christopher Manees, M.D.

Dr. Christopher Manees is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology with a Subspecialty Certification in Pain Medicine. He earned his medical doctorate from the Wayne

State University School of Medicine in 2006 and completed his Anesthesiology Residency in 2010. Dr. Manees finished his pain medicine fellowship at the same institution in 2011, where he managed acute and chronic pain consults. Before joining Coastal Health, Dr. Manees worked for three years at a private practice in Austin, Texas.

He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Academy of Pain Medicine, and American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.

Dr. Manees, on multiple occasions, received the Patients’ Choice Award and Compassionate Doctor recognition during his pain medicine fellowship at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center and again while in private practice.
