Jennifer Mertiff, APRN

Jennifer Mertiff, APRN, is a dedicated and highly skilled advanced practice registered nurse with a broad range of experience in patient care across various healthcare environments.

Mertiff holds Master of Science degrees in both Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Downers Grove, Illinois, and Psychiatric/Mental Health Family Nurse Practitioner from Wilkes University in Wilkesboro, Pennsylvania, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Downers Grove, Illinois.

Prior to joining Coastal Health – Spine & Pain, Mertiff served as a family nurse practitioner at Walmart Health and Conviva Care Center in Florida. There, she provided comprehensive care to families, managed chronic conditions, and collaborated with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes. Her early experience as a perioperative registered nurse at Baptist Health in Jacksonville, Florida, equipped her with valuable skills in surgical care and patient management.

Mertiff’s expertise includes clinical assessment, patient care, treatment planning, and diagnostics interpretation. Her strong communication skills and ability to develop effective treatment plans have been key to her success in various healthcare settings.

Mertiff is certified in basic and advanced life support. She is also recognized by the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners and holds a national certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
