Dr. Dian Bueno, D.O.

Dr. Dian Bueno is a fellowship-trained interventional pain medicine physician specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic pain conditions. He is proud to care for patients as part of the Coastal Health – Spine & Pain team, where he focuses on restoring function and improving quality of life through advanced interventional techniques.

Dr. Bueno completed his fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at Montefiore in New York, NY. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, after a transitional year with USF Morsani/HCA Healthcare in St. Petersburg, Florida. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Virginia and graduated magna cum laude with a degree in biology and a minor in chemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University.

In addition to his clinical training, Dr. Bueno has contributed to peer-reviewed publications and presented research at national conferences on topics such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for lumbar facet syndrome, neuromodulation, and innovative interventional pain procedures. He has also held leadership roles including co-president of the NYU PM&R Pain and Spine Interest Group and coordinator of cadaver lab sessions for resident education.

Beyond medicine, Dr. Bueno is passionate about service and global outreach. He founded DMERecycled (NPO), a nonprofit dedicated to recycling durable medical equipment and making it available to rural and international clinics. He also enjoys music, travel, fitness, and sports including soccer and volleyball. Dr. Bueno is committed to helping his patients find lasting relief from pain and return to the activities they enjoy most.
