Dr. Kenneth Powell, D.O.

As a physician leader for Coastal Health, Dr. Kenneth Powell is board certified in physical medicine & rehabilitation. He has specialized experience in injections, spinal cord stimulation, as well as various pain management therapies such as kyphoplasty, dorsal root ganglion therapy for chronic pain, and facet joint nerve ablations.

Dr. Powell earned his bachelor’s degree in biology at Alabama State University in Montgomery in 1996 and his doctorate from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2004 in Pennsylvania. He graduated from Temple University Hospital/MossRehab Pain Medicine and Rehabilitation residency program in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he was nominated chief resident. Dr. Powell completed a rotating internship at Delaware County Memorial Hospital in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania and is a graduate of the Interventional Pain Medicine Fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.

Dr. Powell is a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and the Florida Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
