Leslie Horne, PA-C

Leslie Horne is a physician assistant certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She earned her Master of Medical Science from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Prior to attending physician assistant school, Horne qualified as an EMT-B and worked in an emergency room. After graduating, she worked in an urgent care center, seeing patients as well as conducting Department of Transportation physicals and ordering and reading diagnostic tests. Horne then transferred to a pain management where she assessed patients and was trained to administer interventional pain management options such as trigger point injections, as well as the management of surgically implanted pain relief devices. She also participated as a subclinical investigator on medication research trials.

Horne is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants. Her experience working with a variety of patients and examining and diagnosing medical issues as well as managing medical conditions makes Horne an asset to Coastal Health’s professional team.
