Melissa Kenner, LCSW

Melissa Kenner, LCSW earned her Master of Social Work from St. Leo University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Florida State University. Kenner is a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Specialist and also a Qualified LCSW Supervisor. Kenner provides psychotherapy treatment using cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy from a strengths-based perspective to motivate change in older teens and adults. Kenner has participated in research projects to promote better understanding of mental health issues, treatment options and preventative measures. Before joining Coastal Health, Kenner was in private practice in Fernandina Beach. She also worked for HCA at Memorial Hospital, Jacksonville, as a behavioral health assessment and referral specialist.
