Theresa Morin, APRN

Theresa Morin, APRN is an advanced practice registered nurse and family nurse practitioner with Coastal Health. She has more than ten years’ experience in providing medical care for patients in a high stress, high volume environment at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.

Morin completed her Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) from South University in Savannah, Georgia and her Master’s in Leadership & Management from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, Utah. She has completed 150 hour practicums in family health, women’s health, adult and geriatric care and primary care.

Prior to completing her family nurse practitioner and leadership and management degrees, Morin worked as a registered nurse in the emergency department at Memorial Hospital. She has also worked as a registered respiratory therapist providing care and education, including use of CPAP machines.

Her prior work allows Morin to connect with patients to educate, analyze and treat under various conditions. As a respiratory therapist, she gained experience in reading and translating lab results to patients and families in order to make informed treatment decisions. As an emergency department nurse, she assessed and provided trauma care in a fast-paced environment. Morin has also supervised personnel and maintained federal, state and hospital guidelines for patient treatment and privacy.

Morin applies her knowledge and skills to the benefit of her patients at Coastal Health. As part of their high-quality orthopedic care, Coastal Health is dedicated to caring for all foot and leg issues, from diabetic wounds to non-surgical or surgical treatments, in order to help people live their life with no or little foot and leg pain.
