Zachariah Seelman, DPM

Dr. Zachariah Seelman is a respected podiatric physician for Coastal Health. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, following his undergraduate studies in Biology at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. During his time at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, Dr. Seelman distinguished himself as a Division III NCAA athlete in springboard diving, showcasing his dedication to both academic and athletic excellence. Dr. Seelman completed his podiatric residency training at Ascension St. John Macomb-Oakland in Warren, MI, and Ascension St. Vincent’s in Jacksonville, FL. His residency equipped him with a broad range of skills in podiatric surgery and patient management, including trauma care, diabetic salvage, and reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Seelman holds certifications in DEA/Opioid and Controlled Substances, BLS, and ACLS. He is also certified in Fundamental Nerve Surgery and Fundamental Arthroscopy by AENS and IFAF, respectively. His expertise includes procedures such as rearfoot reconstructive surgery, micro/nerve surgery, and sports injuries. His contributions to podiatric medicine are further highlighted by his research on diabetes- induced dementia, published in Podiatry Today.

Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Seelman’s background is enriched by his athletic experience and commitment to sports medicine. He is an active member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS), reflecting his ongoing dedication to the field. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Seelman enjoys spending time with his family and is passionate about promoting physical wellness and athletic achievement.
