Ganglion Cyst

Ganglion Cysts are small, fluid-filled lumps that often show up on tendons or joints in places like your wrists, hands, ankles, or feet. They can also appear near other joints. These lumps form when fluid leaks from a joint or tendon, creating a cyst. People think they might happen because of tears in the tendon or joint, maybe from overuse, but no one knows the exact cause. The good news is that Ganglion Cysts are common, not cancerous, and don’t spread to other parts of your body. Most of the time, they go away by themselves, but there are surgeries to remove them if needed. Women are more likely to get ganglion cysts between ages 20 and 40.
