Arthroscopy

Arthroscopy

Arthroscopy is a surgical procedure that helps diagnose joint issues often caused by inflammation, sports injuries, or loose pieces of bones or cartilage.  After receiving the appropriate type of anesthetic, a surgeon will use a small camera device inside a tiny tube called an arthroscope to see inside the body. Patients can usually go home that same day and resume normal activity within weeks. Once properly diagnosed, patients can begin targeted treatment for their condition.
